We've tried aftermarket cartridges, with nothing but problems. Epson cartridges are by far superior -- they last longer, give better print quality, and don't clog the printhead and jets.

I generally like Epson inks, but these are in such small cartridges that I have to replace them frequently and there are 8 of them! I may need to do some adjusting in the computer because at present I need to really boost the contrast and brightness before printing in order for the photos to come out looking brilliant instead of dull and lifeless. This comment should be sent to Epson; it has nothing to do with Staples carrying the product.
