These comments are about Epson cartridges. The ink is fine but it is very expensive compared to generic or store-brand ink cartridges, which are mainly available online. If cost is not a concern then I would recommend getting replacement ink cartridges from the original printer manufacturer. They are reliable and always have excellent ink. However, for most of us money is tight these days so the low-cost alternatives are tempting. If you do a little research and order remanufactured cartridges from a reputable company you will not be disappointed. One big advantage to buying at Staples, however, is I can walk to the store in ten minutes and buy a cartridge immediately. An important consideration if time is a factor.

I bought my Epson Work Force printer at Staples Office Supply when I was working from home for an out of state company and the ease of replacing cartriges when I did alot of printing as well as faxing, scanning, copying was crutial. The yellow one is in a little box inside the base of the printer along with the black, magenta, and blue. All I have to do is open up, remove the spent cartridge, put the fresh one in, and just punch a button. Once it reloads which take very little time, the printing resumes.

Most of my printing is done for scrapbooking so it is important I use an ink for long lasting color and quick drying and this ink meets both criteria. However I am not happy that everytime I have a coupon for ink Epson is always excluded from the deal.

Again the product is great, but not enough ink in the cartridge, therefore very costly, just what the designer had in mind... reoccuring cost for the consumer. Why because they can! And we are caught in the trap!
