The regular Epson cartridges do not last very long. I really like my Epson 595, but the high capacity cartridges really do last considerably longer. They just aren't available through Staples (I don't know why). I recycle a good amount of oddball cartridges, and use the $$ to buy ink, making sure to purchase enough with cash to keep up with the new current policies.
