i used to own a hp printer and the toners were much mor expensive than the epsom product and would also not last as long as the epsom product- i consequently will from now on only purchase the epsom products as they also last much longer than the hp toner products that i used. another advantage is that the store availibality is much better with the epsom product. it is therefore a much more practicalway to go !!!!!! other generetic products are not even as economical and would not consider buying them.

Had started getting streaks (like grid lines) in my photos recently, though the Epson printer ink status dialog box didn't say "replace cartridge xxx" so wasn't sure which needed to be replaced. Finally just decided to buy all six and replace those showing the least amount of ink on the diagram. The black cartridge appeared to be the most empty so it was the first I replaced. Just now did a test of four rather colorful photos from my files and they came out perfect: no lines or streaks or spots. My photos are important to me, and I want the printed colors as good as what my eye sees. And that's what I got. So happy!

Always have a great experience with Epson ink, great photo prints. Best used with Epson paper, huge difference!

I am a self-employed artist making high-end art cards and prints. As a test, I spent one month stuffing different brands and types of paper into different brands of printer with different inks and ink settings, and the results were remarkably clear: Epson 79 inks in an Epson Photo 1400 printer on Avery art papers with a Premium Presentation ink setting. Outstanding. People rave!

While the color of all the Epson cartridges is great, the expense for my printer makes in harsh. I use 6 different cartridges so for the total cost I can almost buy a new printer each time.
