The Epson R1900 has 8 ink cartridges. The colors are very vibrant especially if you use the Epson Gloss Paper. I have tried it with the Advanced HP Photo Paper - Glossy and it is very similiar to Epson's Premium Photo Paper Glossy. The colors are almost the same and dry time is just as quick on both papers.
