GREAT FOR AN INKJET

Comments about EPSON 127 Extra High-Capacity Ink Cartridge; Magenta:
This is a great product for an inkjet but the next printer I will buy is a laser jet. I only print 1 or 2 things a day and these dry out to fast. Now for an ink jet printer the Epson and the Brothers are the best I have found. Do not use a substitute brand because they seem to clog the head up, they also smear because they do not dry fast enough. I have tried a lot of other ink jet printers and none seem to compare with the Epson and Brothers. The worst printers I have owned and used are the Hewitt Packard they are really unreliable. But if you really want a great printer buy a Laser Printer. I again would not buy a Hewitt Packard.
I like Epson ink

I just bought a new Epson printer, copier, and fax machinefor my business and I like it very much. The ink is more expensive than my last copier but the printing is much better. I have the same printer at home and use both of them a lot. I print lots of forms and letters and flyers on both printers. We fax quite a bit and the ink is always clear and easy to read and does not smears. The ink seems to last for awhile but we do print a lot and sometimes go through the black and colors quickly. I always by my ink at Staples.

High quality, but relatively expensive

The quality can't be beat, but they are rather expensive for what you get. If I were only printing off the web or something, I would much prefer a less expensive generic ink, even if I had to sacrifice some quality. However, since I use this printer for photos, I prefer to keep the quality of the genuine Epson ink. One thing to keep in mind however is to convert all photos to CMYK in your image editing software before printing. Color matching between screen and printer will be significantly improved.I also use this printer to make lables for homebrew beer bottles. It is worth noting that the ink appears to be waterproof, and does not run when it gets wet.
Excellent product mediocre value

About Me Midrange Shopper
We've been delighted with our Epson printer and the quality of printouts it creates. The initial purchase was a tremendous value, another fine deal from Staples. However, with 4 students in the house the amount of ink we've used in the past year could have paid for 3 brand new Workforce all-in-one printers. I would like to see the cost of ink go way down, or get a better justification for the cost.
too expensive
