I believe the printer companies are asking an unfair price for what amounts to less than an ounce of ink per cartridge. As a small business owner (photography and photo artist),ink for my printer is one of my biggest expenses and other than participating in the rewards program Staples offers, I have no alternative but to buy the product and pay the price. It would be nice if this industry had credible compition to help get the cost down. I am curious as to what the production cost for printer ink might be.
