Comments about HP EVGA® GeForce Video Card, 1 GB, 64-Bit:

Do my eyes deceive me or does it say HP in the Item Title? What does HP have to do with video cards? In the Item Description on the buying page it says HP NVIDIA, but for some resaon in the description field on this page it states EVGA. Weird.

              I thought I was buying a low-end NVIDIA card.

However, this is a card manufactured by EVGA with chipset by NVIDIA.

The tiny little fan is obnoxiously loud.

Comments about HP EVGA® GeForce Video Card, 1 GB, 64-Bit:

This card is not going to give you 100FPS in the newest games, but if you need a graphics card and have a mobo without integrated graphics this card can work. And should work with included drivers or current drivers as of 6/1/2013. However, it is a several generation old product and may eventually require an archived drivers within the next year or so. It does support 3d, but doesn't have high hopes for the latest games and I would leave AA off (especially 4x at high res). But UT2/Dragon Age Era products might not fair too badly. Also the HDMI on this card doesn't support audio. This is solely a lower-end graphics card. It was never designed to, and HDMI was added as an after-thought. The 8 Series has NO integreated audio. And it was usually only 8400GT/GTS which even had an audio pass through. It was not until the 9 series that this was standard on some of the higher end cards and not across the board till the 200 series.

Comments about HP EVGA® GeForce Video Card, 1 GB, 64-Bit:

Bought this video card, hoping to get a better resolution on my digital monitor, and all though I have plenty of power on my PSU 750W, and have the appropriate slot, the computer could only read the audio part of this card.
