This fax machine replaces an 11 year old brother model 2800 which was not worth the cost to rep oar. We are very pleased with the 2940. It is faster with better design and features than our old one plus it can serve as black and white printer should one of our dedicated printers need service.

We strongly recommend this fax machine for small to medium office environment.

I was told by customer service that it included a message center (Answering machine). It has the ability to work with an answering machine. Set up for the system is a little tricky. Only once thought about throwing it out the window. Now very happy with it. If you have an existing answer machine and some patience, well worth the price.
