I'm on my second one of these. I have to move it out of the way a lot because i have a small space. I guess raising and lowering it everyday was too much, and the hinges have broken for the second time. Additionally, the silver piece that sits on my desk is large and takes up too much space. I'm back here looking for a different one, to replace the one that just broke.

This is great typing stand that sits right before the monitor which makes it so easy to type from hand written notes or if you have to enter numbers It's sturdy and holds quite a bit of paper.

This document works great for all my needs at work. It sits in front of my moniter making viewed documents easy to read without blocking the view of my screen or keyboard. It is a multipurpose holder with not only a slider rule but also a clipboard, both which work with a large quantity of documents. It is light weight, yet sturdy. Worth the price!

I've been looking for something like this for a very long time. It's the perfect solution for someone who needs a copy holder that doesn't take up much room. It's so adjustable and sturdy! It's weighted and balanced so it will stand solidly at the edge of your desk just above your keyboard so it won't obstruct your view of your monitor or your keyboard. Works especially well with a steno pad for transcribing shorthand. The color is dark gray so it blends well with my contemporary decor. I love it. Well worth the price.

At first I was worried that when the top was fully extended it might have too much flex in it, since I write & stamp on the documents on the holder. So far it has not been an issue at all with very minimal flex when pressing down right near the top. The weighted bottom cures a lot of frustration (felt like I need three hands with other models). The width is nice, not obstructive, but wide enough to keep check registers and other wide docs in place, without continually trying to escape. I like the way you can adjust the height both up and down below the edge of the table to accomodate those long documents without coming between you and the monitor. I had ended up removing and not using the line guides provided on previous document holders because it was too much of a hassle trying to get them to slide up and down just the right amount, but I'm really impressed with the magnetic one which comes with this. It easily pops straight off if need be, but with the depth possiblity on it, it can be snug against one sheet or will easily show your place even with a thick stack of papers on the holder. Very pleased with the purchase and it cost much less than the $100 ones which seemed to fit my requirements.

Installed behind keyboard on keyboard shelf to hold copy in front of widescreen monitor. The new wide monitor placed the side copy holder out of my focus distance.

Makes the pull out shelf for the keyboard quite crowded, and cannot push the keyboard shelf back under the desk with this copy holder in place - but it works.

Light weight, compact, and easy to move - can also be used at the side of the lap top.
