This product works great. I have had cheaper laminators and it worked ok for a while but recently died. I bought a Staples brand laminator and used it for about a week. It did not seem to have the same quality as the Fellowes SATURN 2 95 9.5". I like the versatility of being able to select the MIL size or cold lamination. The best part to me ws the industrial power cord that seems to be missing in cheaper laminators. I use this at a school to laminate the students passes. They all seem to love it too!
This laminator works perfect. I got it dirt cheap on sale at Staples and was pleasantly surprised as to how well it works. The box states it will do cold lamination along with 3mil and 5mil hot lamination.
However, this also will do 7mil with NO PROBLEM! I like to use the 7mil to laminate paper and I use the 5 mil to laminate cardstock. This gives each type of media almost the same rigidity.
This machine works flawlessly with laminate up to 7 mil and I would highly recommend it to anyone needing a laminator for home use.
I am using the product to laminate designs/signs on regular colored paper. The machine came with approx. 10 lamination sheets, which were great. I also bought a 100 pack of laminating sheets and those have work great as well. I would definitely recommend this product.

Purchased this unit for use in a retail environment that has the unit laminating a modest number of membership cards. On an average day it'll laminate between 5 & 10 membership cards, then up to 20 on a busy day. Our previous unit had worked for over a year before something heavy fell on it and shorted the unit. Since it too was a Fellowes brand we took the chance on this unit. Other than the object falling on the previous laminator, which was a freak accident, our environment is not hard use area at all. We take care of our gear and we are upset to see that this unit only lasted a couple months. The issues began with motor noise and then grew into a full blown feed problem. All the troubleshooting with Fellowes has failed. It is forcing me to just junk the unit.
