      I bought this to protect professional certifications and cards and it has been a great investment. It works very nicely even though it is a tad bit slow. It is nice to know that I can keep all of my cards safe and sound, without having to worry about damage to them.

            demo pouches that come with the unit do not work for some reason. they have probably had a lot of returns because of this. the regular staples laminating pouches work just fine.

                  This is a great product at a reasonable price. As a small business owner I occasionally need laminated posters for display. For a fraction of the price for store lamination, I make my own professional looking displays without having to leave my office. Need more copies or change displays? No need to go back to the store, just turn on the unit and laminate. Easy to use instructions. Just make sure you run the cleaning sheet at the end of run to keep the unit clean and jam-free. Make sure the feed is lined up straight or it will curl up at the edges.

                        You must be very careful sending 8 1/2 x 11" sheets of paper through this unit. If you are not careful the corner bends up. I have had success on a couple of pieces that did not bend, but you must find the "sweet spot" in order for this not to happen. Having purchased this unit on sale I can live with it, but if I had paid top dollar I would return it for a better unit. I would recommend this lamintor if it's on sale, but not at the normal price. I haven't tried laminating any pictures, but the items I did laminate (mostly signage) came out fine.
