Cloth covering comes apart at the side and the sticky gel from inside starts falling out all over the desk.

I bought this twice and it happened both times. The second time I had it only a couple of days and it happened.

I am using this with an Apple Wireless Keyboard and Magic Trackpad. I mounted everything to a piece of smoked glass to make the perfect Multimedia Keyboard. I looks and functions fantastically.

This item was defective in less than a year. The gel was oozing out. The replacement was the exact item but was shorter in length and more flat. Hence the item has shrunk. Doesn't hold up over time...a poor value.

What can you say about a wrist rest? It does what it's designed to do. However, it has a very odd odor -- like damp towels moldering. Hopefully that goes away with time. Otherwise, good heavy duty wrist rest, stays in place.

I use a computer a lot (laptop) and was starting to have some wrist and hand pain. I bought these; the look great and do not skid at all. My only complaint is that for the first month I had them, I tore my house apart trying to find the smell of rotting flowers - it was the wrist pad and mouse pad.

Firm yet comfortable support, very well made to last a long time. Stays where it is put but also easy to move around. Small enough to fit well on my rather smallish desk.
