Holder is too heavy for the monitor unless you have a 19 inch or something large, also as a result of its size, the adhesive isn't adequate to hold up. Definitely would not recommend. It's actually too bulky.

This copy holder seems well made, and sturdy, but is heavier than expected. It will not mount well onto thin/small monitors such as is pictured. Also, it requires a fair amount of clearance to the side of the monitor as it is fairly wide.

I AM THE SUPPLY CLERK FOR MY OFFICE, ONE MEMBER OF OUR STAFF RETURNED THE MONITOR MOUNT TO ME AND TOLD ME THAT IT APPEARED TO BE DEFECTIVE, THAT THE ADHESIVE WOULD NOT STAY ATTACHED TO THE MONITOR AS DESCRIBE. SO I GIVE IT A THUMBS DOWN.

I cleaned the monitor with a plastics cleaning cloth. After it dried I applied the peel and stick adhesive and clamped it overnight. That is the best way to get good adhesion with this type of material. Two days later with no load on the copy holder the adhesive gave up the ghost. I am sending it back and getting something else.
