We received our adjustable footrests today, and needless to say, we were all disappointed. I was surprised to see that it was made of hard plastic. The quality was not worth the price.

It is an excellent foot rest. I have lower back problems and it seems to make my chair more comfortable, while at the same time allieviating pressure from my lower back. It is an excellent addition to my home office and easily fits under the desk. The footrest is also easy to move to clean under or take to another location. For example I can take it from my home office to my work without to much trouble. The color blends in well and it is an attractive design to add to the office environment. This footrest is also comfortable with or without shoes. I usually use it without shoes, while wearing socks.

I use it while sitting at my desk on my laptop.
Love that it's adjustable and that it can be locked in placed once you find a comfortable resting level.

I am too short to reach the ground from my chair at my work station. To be at the right height for my keyboard and desk means keeping my chair high and thus my feet did not touch the ground. This footrest is high enough (at its highest) to allow my feet to touch ground. Hurray. This is a perfect product for short people!

While it does seem to be easy to adjust the tilt on this foot rest, it is a real nuisance to adjust the height. To do so you must remove four screws (if you can find the Phillips head screwdriver, long!), this sounds easy but they are located in a narrow channel making them hard to access, then once you get them out, be VERY careful removing the plastic adjustment piece as it felt ready to snap (lucky it did not) Now that I have set the height, I will never move it!
On a positive note, once the adjustments are made, the foot rest is quite comfortable.
