Comments about GBC Quartet� Basic Telescoping Tripod Easels; Heavy Duty, Black:

We purchased half a dozen of these. Within weeks, at least one leg on every single one of them would no longer lock into the extended position, apparently due to a manufacturing defect. Our expensive floor easels abruptly became tabletop easels. You would think that "heavy-duty" means "high quality" -- especially when it comes at twice the price! -- but that is not the case here.

On the plus side, for the first few weeks while they still work, they provide a more stable tripod than the flimsy ordinary kind.
