Chairs are great and our first set is 9 years old and still in perfect condition. We love the mesh back, especially during the summer months. Our new set arrived smelling of cigarette smoke - the smell lasted about 3 weeks and most likely it was from the factory.

Chairs smell of cigarette smoke - once the box is opened, you will be hit by a strong cigarette odor, which is also embedded within the chair itself. I'm guessing that the odor will dissipate within a few days, but in the mean time I must suffer with the strong odor.
Five stars for all day comfort - our first chairs lasted 9 years and they still look great. Minus two stars for the smell of cigarette smoke.

The arm rests were the first to go. Within the first three months they cracked and split leaving a surface like a razorback vinyl hog. Before a year had passed they were so miserable feeling and looking I removed the arms completely. Next to deteriorate was the foam backed vinyl surrounding the mesh. This rot surfaced not long after removing the arm rests and has progressed from top to bottom of the seam on the left side joining the mesh to vinyl and foam. While this chair is not bought Cheaply, it certainly is made that way.

Great option for meeting most of the ergonomic requirements for the staff in the office. Arms do not go low enough for some ladies, with feet on the floor and keyboard trays at proper height. Added spacers and longer screws on several arms to lower.

Nice chair but I have disc problems and the chair hit me in the wrong place on my thoracic spine, and I could not adjust it for that. Also, I was interested in the GreenGuard certification, and the leather was good, but please note that the armrests have a strong odor. I had to return the chair and Staples' customer service was wonderful!
