This can't be real leather!
About Me Budget Shopper
Comments about Global Leather Executive High-Back Chair; Black:
The so called leather does not hold up very well. There were several places on the back of the chair that wore thin and the seams are coming apart on the seat and the back. I feel the padding leaves a lot to be desired. I have to use 2 pillows to sit on and one behind my back. I contacted Global and they mailed directly to my house another seat and back with no hassle. I appreciated this. I'm hoping I can get the old ones off and the new ones assembled easy enough.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Very uncomfortable for me
from Newport, OR
I found this chair in my office place to replace a used chair when I began my new job. I found that this chair is terrible for my back. I am a 5'4" female weighing about 115lbs. It does nothing for my back. Being smaller in a large chair is not a good combination. I find that the chair feels concave to me. I feel as though it gives me worse posture. It also gives no support in my lower back. As a thin female I need something to support the curvature of my lower back because it has an extreme arch. This chair does not support anything that I need unfortunately and I am hoping to find a better chair that supports my specific needs.

About Me Midrange Shopper
This chair is great. I've owned one since 2004 and it's still perfect. I just purchased another one for a second computer desk. The price is a little much but worth it. I got my first one for [$] during a Christmas sale. I'm 6'5" 250+ lbs and I use this chair daily for home/home office.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Our physician has no complaints about this chair.....however, she is not using it for long periods of time.

The chair is a pretty solid unit. However, the user is a real slacker. Be cautious when ordering that you do not end up with a 9 to noon worker like we did.

I received this chair as a Christmas gift in 2003 or 2004. I have never had any problems with it. I weigh 300 pounds. I sit in this chair to use my computer for 8 hours or more, most days. It has recently started leaning to the right, because the plastic side rails of the seat are splitting due to the way I lean in it. *Keep in mind this chair is 6 or 7 years old and I weigh 300 pounds.* I have not had any unusual problems with the leather as others have mentioned, mine has been scraped against my other furniture on the back corners for years and aside from minor scrapes, it is still in good shape. I *highly* recommend this chair. The only thing I don't like about it is that it does not have a headrest or at least a taller back... but I'm lazy and I don't want to hold my own head up.

Extremely comfortable lumbar support!!! Possible to sit in this chair for 9+ hours while doing work/playing games/etc. I am sitting in the chair as I type up this review.
This chair is nice!

I've bought several of these to replace some high-end chairs we bought for our conference room (that broke) and they're perfectly fine for our everyday uses. I use one as my everyday desk chair as well. I am buying more now! They were so nice, some other employees took them from the conference room to use them! I've had absolutely no problems with this chair for the 6+ months I've been using it.
