Gmas Oatmeal Cookies: best you can buy
Comments about Grandmas Cookies Grandmas® Cookies; Big Oatmeal Raisin, 2.5-oz., 60 Bags/Case:
I'm a health concious athlete. I discovered these about 20-years ago in my office vending machine. I found that they were about the most healthy thing in there and were a great, filling, snack that gave me some energy for training or held me over until dinner. There's some sugar and some oil, but what do you expect? It's a cookie for goodness sake (and some of us do need that occasionally)! Great for snacks. Actually they are probably as healthy (if not more healthy) as a box of cereal or granola bars. I have not found any adverse effects (nausia) while doing hard training; that's a big indicator that these are easy to digest and are fairly "healthy". As with anything, it's gonna make you fat if you eat too many.
They are the closest thing to home-made Oatmeal cookies I've ever found in the store. They taste BETTER than many that I've had that are home-made.
Con: Can't find them in any major grocery store. I used to only get them when I lucked out and happened to go to a Gas Station Mini Market that had them (then I would buy all that were on the shelf!). Then I discovered I could get them online- "Haleluja"! I'm on my 2nd box of 60 from Quill.com...
