I was concerned when I purchased the item because I have heard the rails purchased separate from the cabinet have a tendency to move. However, these rails have stayed in place well. I do have the rails evenly distributed with hanging files.

Bought these HOPING they'd work on the Sauder lateral file I got at a yard sale - and they did! Strong, easy to snap onto the edges of the drawers. Perfect.

I ordered the single rail in error; needed the double....the product is wonderful...works well....a little expensive though....

Perfect for converting a lateral file cabinet into a front to back/side by side file cabinet.

The only problem is the extreme front and back edges when file folders are in. There is a tiny gap where the folder clips slide in and get stuck. But otherwise it works exactly as advertizsed.

The divider rails are hard to move and place and it is not a 100% efficient use of space at 30 inches, but overall it met all expectations. It has a small footprint, looks much better than vertical cabinets, perfect height for using top as counter space, and the high quality associated with HON. All other brands have given me trouble.
