        This fan is so quiet you hardly know it's on. I like being able to have the fan on while watching television, and with this fan I no longer have to turn the volume up on the television because the fan is so loud. The remote control feature is a plus, and having several fan speeds to choose from is really nice. It is also a great fan for the bedroom because it offers a nice breeze and is quiet enough not to disturb sleep.

          The fan is very quiet. Great if you are watching television or trying to sleep. However, the construction is very flimsy. It continually falls apart whenever being moved. The knob to tighten the 'head' of the stand to the base of the stand doesn't help much, if at all. I have found the same reviews from other sites, so this is not just a defect in an individual stand. Also, the remote light on the stand is very bright (I covered it with a bandaid and the remote still worked). This is not the sturdy Honeywell construction from the past.
