HP Brochure Paper

Comments about HP Hewlett Packard® 48-lb. Brochure Inkjet Paper; 50 Sheets Per Pack:

I picked up this paper for labels for water bottles & Hershey bar wrapper for a baby shower they came out so beautifully and am so glad I bought it. The best part is Staples Printing Dept. accepted the paper days after I bought it and printed the labels for me a very fast process other than using my printer. The product is great thumbs up to Hewlit Packard. I would recommend this product for anyone who has projects and wants the paper with a little shine to it totally loved the outcome of the print.

I purchased this paper for our church. We've used it to make beautiful flyers for several of our events. It is smooth and glossy; easy to print on and is a good weight. I love to use it to make color flyers.

Used for a "cover" on a 1/2 sheet booklet. Printed very well and the finish on the paper look at least semi-professional.

Flimsy Paper

Comments about HP Hewlett Packard® 48-lb. Brochure Inkjet Paper; 50 Sheets Per Pack:

My own fault...I did not realize I had purchased glossy instead of matte brochure paper until I opened it. I tried it for a photo and the print was abysmal! Now that it's been opened, I can't return it. The weight of the paper was very flimsy as compared to the matte paper. I'll be more careful in perusing the shelves for the proper paper next time.

Not what I was looking for

Comments about HP Hewlett Packard® 48-lb. Brochure Inkjet Paper; 50 Sheets Per Pack:

I got this product after talking with the staff about wanting to have professional looking and feeling brochures. After getting the paper back to work and attempting in three different programs and with several printing options they turned out horrible. The ink lacked any vivid/bright/deep qualities after it printed. The document looked pale and the words were so light they could not be read. In order for them to look as professional as the last batch I had printed on a different paper I had to print one on Photo option. With doing this it used more ink and took longer to print and I could not print it double sided. Once it came out it felt like a photo and has that sticky quality to it. Overall not all all what I wanted.

Great for color calendars.

Comments about HP Hewlett Packard® 48-lb. Brochure Inkjet Paper; 50 Sheets Per Pack:

I've used this paper for color calendars since it's been available and it's better than anything else I've ever tried. My calendars are beautiful, and it also makes excellent prints of pictures and my wife's water color paintings.

Quality very uneven

Comments about HP Hewlett Packard® 48-lb. Brochure Inkjet Paper; 50 Sheets Per Pack:

Like the previous viewer, I have noticed that batches of this paper are yellower and other batches are much brighter, much whiter. It is unfortunate when using this paper for repeat printing of brochure contents, since some are very bright, and others appear yellow, as if the lacquer on the surface had aged significantly and turned yellow. Not sure what HP is doing, but their quality control on 8 1/2 x 11 glossy brochure paper is not what it was. And this is really too bad, since this is THE principle paper choice for small businesses printing brochure contents and fliers. I hope they get it together soon, otherwise I'll have to move to Epson, which is also a good product, but works best on Epson printers - a significant move for me. I do use Epson for large format printing, but my HP has always been much easier, more trouble-free, less expensive and the real work horse of the office for all 81/2 x 11 printing.
