This machine puts out great prints; however, it takes almost 1 1/2 minutes to print 2 copies. I uninstalled the software and re-installed it and I get the same results. I can't sit up all night trying to print 100 copies.

This is my first experience using a laser jet printer. I was afraid it would be complicated, but it wasn't. I have just started taking online classes, and i print everything out! The ink consumption is low which was a concern for me,i was replacing ink like every month with the old printer. The speed is unbelievable and the color is amazing the printer takes up the same amount of space as the old one which left me plenty of room to shop staples for more office supplies.I would defiantly recommend this product .

I print occasionally in color but usually b/w. I bought this printer because every time I wanted to print in color, one of the inkjet cartridges would have dried out. Also, my inkjet (an HP Photosmart) was slow and unreliable. This printer has a smaller footprint, is much faster and more reliable and the toner cartridges don't dry out. I give it only 4 stars because: it does not print or scan in duplex; it does not have a separate adjustable manual input tray (i.e. to print an envelope or other odd-sized medium, you have to remove the paper stack in order to insert the envelope and adjust the paper guides; there is no cover on the paper tray; and the scanning resolution is low. In order to get sharp pdf images, I need to increase the dpi which increases the file size, an annoyance for e-mailing. The photosmart scanned much sharper images in smaller files. It does however scan nicely to jpeg for photos. Despite these design failures, this is a good, solid color laser printer with a surprisingly small footprint and low price.

this was a great buy!!!!! i thought maybe i messed up and made a mistake in getting this because of how expensive toner is, but then i realized how long it lasts and it never dries up like inkjet does. you can also order a couple of toners at a time so you can save that way. I recommend getting them online (you can find them cheaper) i was also impressed with how quickly it prints and the quality (the colors are flawless)all in all we made a great buy and so very happy with it and will fo it again if we have to.

Easy set-up with home network. Works well with all devices including Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8, Apple IPad, and IPhones. Print quality seems very good. Copies, scans, faxes all working will. Only criticism is footprint is large.

Reviews from others on this printer stated that it was very slow with extended delays between pages. I've found this not to be the case. While not a high-speed printer, it's more than sufficient for my needs and prints brilliant color documents. I'm well pleased with this printer and would recommend it to others.

First user I'd gotten one for had nothing but love for the machine (she works in our Finance Dept), so I got it for one of our caseworkers as well - and she's loving the features at her desk. Affordable enough to have at your workstation, when you are unable to leave people unattended, but need to copy/print.
