About Me Budget Shopper
Comments about HP Pavilion P6-2326S PC:
I bought this Tower to replace a very old HP Pavilion. It is very fast and can hold all that I need to do. I play HOG ( hidden object games) Games and load a great number of games and have not even come close to running out of memory, and it still loads very fast.
Love the Computer, HATE Windows 8!

About Me Midrange Shopper
The computer is excellent, but Windows 8 is terrible. This is not the fault of the manufacturer or Staples, but of Microsoft. Bad move there, Microsoft! The computer itself is excellent. I have always had the best success with HP
Would'nt buy this product again

Windows 8 is not user friendly. It's only intuitive if you want to play with apps. Microsoft apparantly thinks that creating an Apple interface is what people want. However, Apple does it so much better and I'm not an iPerson. Doing what used to be standard windows tasks is annoying. Also it seems that the MS utilities provide less and less info with every new edition. The PC does not contain any additional bays for another hard drive or anything else for that matter. If you're an app, TV or gaming addict you MIGHT like this computer although your limited to 1GB storage. This is not an item to purchase for business use.
Great HP hardware - Difficult MS OS

This computer serves as a large paperweight. We have gone back to our old HP Windows 7 computers. Granted it is easy to get to the familiar Desktop on Windows 8 but everyday we find something that is familiar in Windows 7 but is missing or hidden in Windows 8. Where are our "Recent Items"? We have to get work done, not look at mindless apps on a strange screen. I don't know how Microsoft is going to get out of this one! No wonder PC sales have plunged! We have delayed buying a new laptop.

Low price with great performance

It was finally time to upgrade my old business computer. And when I received the email coupon for $75.00 off the sale price, I bought it for a VERY good price. The bonus is that it's a very good computer too. The only drawback is learning how to use Windows 8. Since it is so much different than previous Windows operating systems I am still learning all the new stuff. But other than that it's a perfect computer for me.
Happy so far

I bought this to replace a brand new Dell which I returned after a month because the Office 2013 which I had purchased with the machine repeatedly crashed with the Windows 7 OS I had ordered. The first HP model I got from Staples came with a foreign power cord! This mystified the Staples Manger and apparently the HP regional rep as well. Staples replaced the machine the same day with no problem. The total integration of everything in Widows 8 is a pain, but after taking the free Staples Windows 8 tutorial, I'm a bit more secure. Between work and home, I now have work with 4 different operating systems! I keep waiting for this machine to crash, but it hasn't happened yet. I will certainly stick with HP and Staples!
