The catridges are easy to replace in my printer. My biggest complaint is the cost. We have had our HP printer for several years and have spent well over a thousand dollars in cartridges. My recommendation to a friend would be to chose this cartridge over HP 21 due to cost.

    The ink is fine, but it is too expensive. Staples usedn to offer their own branded cartriges, at a much more affordable price. I have been tempted to re-fill my cartriges, but don't like the mess. I have tried re-filling; it works fine and cost pennies. I could also go on-line to one of the many "buy your ink here" offers, but have not yet done so. Cost may drive me there; age and "cheapness" seem to go together. (I guess I'm starting to sound like my father!) It is just so convenient to shop the local Staples that I have not done any of thesecheaper alternatives.

    I liked it better when the ink volume was listed on the package. For the amount of space & ink it took to print 'for ink volume & page yield information' it would have been more 'customer friendly' to just list the volume there. But then, we wouldn't visit the website, would we?

          All my Sunday School lessons are put on paper. I also print colored labels on CD and DVD disks. If you have a lot of intense colors, the ink in a standard cartridge runs out quickly. The 54 hangs in there and gets a lot of work done.
