I like this particular HP toner because it last well and I do have to replace it as often as I do using some of the other size ink cartdriges. At the same time I have found the quailty of the ink to be sharp and crisp. I have never had a problem with the ink smearing on the page as it seems to dry very quickly. It sure beats some of the others that you have to be careful and not sit them on top of one another lest you have to redo your project or paper. The only times when I have had any sort of problem is when I do a number of pictures back to back then the cartridge gets hot and the ink takes longer to dry and there is a chance for a smear.

Cartridges last a long time and deliver good quality. I would recommend, however, that if you are an infrequent user you do not stock too many at a time, as they may expire and lose quality before you have a chance to use them.

        This cartridge is one of the last bastions of truly full ink. It is for HP workhorse printers that are generally no longer available because HP is in the ink business not the printer business. HP figured out the return time to buy cartridges for these old workhorses where a too long statisically so they now make printers and cartridges that run out very fast. I am switching to Epson as soon as my old HP 895Cse's finally die
