You can almost buy a new printer for the cost of one black and one color ink cartridges. Buy stock in HP!

I don't trust the cartridge refills - bad experiences.

Hewlett Packard makes great products and has a very good reputation. The printer I purchased this cartridge for is at least 10 or more years old, but works like a top. I actually have two printers attached to my PC because I just cannot part with the old Deskjet 932C. The printer prints beautifully, and I'm relatively sure that the ink cartridge has a lot to do with the fact that the printer prints so well. The colors are very vivid and beautiful. The pictures I print look as if they were taken with a camera.

Colors on printed document aren't even close to accurate - particularly reds/yellows. Very slow to print. Previously I've been pleased with HP products - but definitely NOT this one.

I felt it was necessary to get the standard ink Cartridge that the High yield with cost about $17.00 more. The new store design helped "sell" the product since the store was low staffed to help on the sales floor. Most of my printing in Black & white. The color is usually used for pdf files or web coupons. I very seldom print pictures. Staples is very competitive for ink prices, and I felt they sell enough ink so the product would be "fresh" there instead of getting it elsewhere. I've used the color ink once since it was replaced and did a great job printing color items.
