On May 6, 2013, I bought one. The printer would not accept it, saying, "remove ink cartridge and check". I returned to the Greensburg store and exchanged it on May 13,2013. It got the same result. Both say made in Ireland , good until Mar 2015. How do I solve this ?

I have always had good luck with the ink cartridge. The ink seems to last a fairly long time. I am not having to change cartridges very often. And the print quality is very good.

high quality ink cartridge that I would buy again but I do firmly believe it is way way way overpriced for the item it is. HP should bring this price down. It is a common cartridge used and the price in unreasonable. On my next printer I might shy away from this unless price comes down or there are occasional sales to help the consumer

I have a HP PSC500 Printer the HP23 Tri Color along with the 15 Black are the inks used for this printer. The two together are no longer available. I would like to see the two (15 &23) together and available for purchase.

I use this old H/P 500 printer to make copies of patterns on fabric by first using freezer paper ironed to the fabric. This helps to run the fabric through without jamming the printer. Saves use of my newer H/P printer. I used the old printer to print all of my letters, menus, schedules, registration forms and envelopes for our 50th class reunion. Although the printing was slow, the outcome was fine. This printer still works great and I am happy that Staples till has the cartridges available that is need to use.
