    I have used these cartridges since 1996 and have been extremely pleased with them. However, I found that Staples only had 1 HP 49 in stock and no HP 29 at all. Neither of these cartridges nor any replacement cartridge for either was listed in Staples mini-catalog of cartridges posted in the toner-ink section of the store.

    Fact is that you only had the Black #29 - no tri-color cartridge to compliment the #29 (HP 54) for that model printer. Staples should consider having both in one pack at a reduced price since it is for a HP Printer that is out being discontinued or is already off the market. Otherwise note that a Printer has a shelf life of 5 years then gets discontinued...so offer a trade in for an old printer and give credit towards a new printer...as they already do with cell phones or recycled ink cartridges...since a new printer gets outdated on technology after 5 years...or start leasing them.
