Th HP color cartridges have clear colors and work fine for what I need it for. I print from my home computer and now that I am retired, my prints are just for personal purposes.
The prints dry quickly and the color prints are good not only for photos but for ordinary reprints They add a dimension when printing articles from the internet.

Having the nice color spoils me, because when I make copies of my color sheets on a copier that is black and white only, I definitely notice the difference and feel a little disappointed!

I have had my HP Deskjet D4260 for 6 years and am a frequent printer, going so far to say that I print way more than is necessary because I prefer to read print rather than on the computer screen. I also tend to hoard articles which requires printing and cataloging as well. The HP ink is inexpensive and provides good long lasting color and I was thrill when I figured out what XP meant and could purchase an ink that provided even more hours of printing before I had to replace the cartridge. Yay!!

I am always pleased with the quality of the prints I get with my HP printer and these cartridges. My problem is that I never get anywhere near the amount of copies advertised. I do some photos (4x6) but will need a new cartridge after printing about 24-30 small pictures. I wish HP would not use different cartridges with every printer/copier/scanner! I have to keep in stock 8 different cartridges for the 3 printers I own currently. And some are much more expensive than others. The last printer I bought takes the 4 separate cartridges, so it seems I am always running to Staples for more. I would recommend it - but for the quality, warning of the small quantity of prints.

A little cheaper in cost, printer itself top broke, where brackets in back broke and top will not close. I have to push down for it to print. Can not afford new one. Look my hp printers.
