I would have picked another printer type if I had known that the hp ink is so expensive. I had no idea at the time although it performs well and is easy to use. I think maybe a kodak would have been cheaper in ink cartridges I have been told. I do however love HP products and have a Dell computer. I wish there were more coupons for the HP products and the store would run more sales on the ink. the sales they have are buying in large quantities at a time and that is just not affordable for me at this time. Thank you

A good product and very easy to change. I have not tried the XL model as I have the printer off for about 4 months a year and the cartridge dries up so I don't feel the extra cost of the XL cartridge would be a good investment. I have to replace all the cartridges once a year when we start using the printer.
We use the printer mostly for printing recipes, receipts and other documents. We use mostly black ink for most of our printing. We occasionally print documents with some color and we do print a photo once in awhile. Overall we are happy with our wireless printer and the HP 564 cartridges.

will buy elsewhere until you get your old cartridges replaced with new. All three cartridges went bad after only printing two sheets.

HP has always served me well but like most all ink cartridges they just don't last very long. If they sit idle for a couple weeks it seems that service life is shortened even more.

Used to own a Lexmark printer and though it's a cheaper printer, the ink is ridiculous. In the end, I will stay with HP Printers. This is my second one so far, and I don't see me changing anytime soon. Just be aware that the ink cartridges that come with the printer are NOT going to last long at all.

I mostly print pictures and so far so good. The ink dries very quickly even when I print pictures on regular oaper. The cartridge is easy to replce and no mess.
