The quality of this ink is great and it is easy to install. I just wish it lasted longer. I'm a real estate agent and I go through a lot of ink and it seems I'm constantly replacing cartridges of ink.

I have two business printers - one uses 940 cartridges, the other 564 cartridges. I do the bulk of my printing using the 940, and have been amazed how many copies I can print before needing to replace the cartridge. The 564 cartridges, which are used in a printer that is not used for heavy-duty printing, don't last nearly as long as the 940. I am completely satisfied with the 940 performance, quality, and price. I do not have to replace the cartridges very often, which is a huge time saver.

If you're going to print, this is a necessity. The HP brand label ink does offer sharp, clear images. Purchasing the extended cartridge does provide more print yield and less trips to the store, plus a better value on the purchase price.

I did go for the bundle pack the last time as there was a small additional discount for choosing that option.

Suggestion: Keep an eye out for specials and stock up on multiples so that you won't be out of ink when you're facing a deadline.

Also, recycle though Staples for bonus points.

This cartridge lasts a very long time. My prior printer cartridges had to be replaced every three months. I had this printer for about 8-9 months. It's still running on the original cartridges that came with it. They are usually sample cartridges meant to test the printer. My black ink is just now starting to get low, so I bought a replacement cartridge. Haven't installed it yet, but it's very simple and you don't get ink all over you. I will probably install this cartridge in a couple of weeks.
