I am a scrapbooker and do many of my work digitally now. These HP cartridges last longer than the regular cartridge and therefore offer more savings. I wish they were not quite as expensive as they are. But with my Staples rewards and the cartridge recycle program, it helps bring the cost down a little. Not using a true HP cartridge does not provide the clear, sharp pictures that I want. If you are not using High Quality photo paper, it can take a bit longer to dry so I make sure I do not stack them or handle the printed portion for a while. I use Everyday photo paper thus causing me to take more care.

This ink has great quality and dries quickly. However it just seems to dry out too quickly. The replacement rate on this ink is just crazy.

I inseerted a new cartridge in my HP 8000 series printer and have had smears on many of the pages I have printed. I am ging to have to purchase a new cartridge, or repeat printing numerous times for a clean page. This has not been a common problem.
