The print heads last a good while. So having to change them every few years isn't that bad. But the cost to change each one can be expensive if you have to change them all at one time, like I did. I could have purchased a new printer.

    Had I known this product would make this much of a difference in the quality of my reproductions, I would have replaced it a long time ago. What a great improvement and easy enough to replace. The only drawback was that I had to order it. But all in all, it was worth the wait!

        Own the HP Officejet Pro 8500A - stopped printing - got an error message - Too frugal (cheap) and did not want to face the fact I needed new catridges until I realized that the printer was on the original printheads and I had owned it for over 1.5 years. Since I am rather frugal, I did attempt to follow the trouble shooting steps first - when all was said and done - it is so much easier to order and install the printheads. Online ordering - quick shipment - Staples rewards credit - what more can you ask for?
