I have always purchased and used only inkjet black and colors from HP ever since the purchase of my printers which are also HP. This includes not only my PC printer but my portable color printer that I use in my RV when traveling and needing to print from my laptop. It is an 17" color one also.

HP Ink is too expensive. To add insult to injury, the ink cartridges have a an Expiration Date built into the cartridge, so, if you do not use all the ink by the Expiration Date, the printer will not function without numerous steps to bypass. Never buy an HP Printer again.

This ink cartridge works as advertised by providing outstanding color and the extra pages of print the XL size is designed for. For this reason it constitutes an excellant bargain for the money. In addition, the cartridge works as it is supposed to in the printer. There is no problem getting it to sync with the printer electronics as is often the case with a substitute product. The consumer can really feel confident that he is purchasing a product that is reliable, specifically made for his printer and a great value.
