It literally took me several days to get the printer up and running. The printing via USB was no problem, but I had an extremely difficult time getting it to recognize my wireless network.
Some of it was me but I also wish that the manual that came with it was much lengthier and more helpful. I recently replaced my router so that might have been part of the problem.

My previous Brother printer (non-Laser) that drank ink like no tomorrow was very good at turning off in between printing jobs. I may not have this new HP set up correctly but it doesn't do that at the moment.
I wish you best of luck in your search for a printer.
If color isn't important, I highly recommend a Laser B & W.

This printer works just as it advertises. I have had it for about a month now and have had no issues with it. I have already printed a ton more pages with it, than my old inkjet cartridges could handle, and the toner is still going strong. I have not yet had to replace the initial toner that came with the unit. I believe it is a better investment in the long-run, and I am looking forward to getting the most out of my purchase! I would recommend this to anyone who is not concerned with color-printing but needs a machine that works well.

I've used both HP and Canon Laser Printers for years and have found them always to be quite reliable. I am not a fan of ink jet printers, finding the cost of ink, mess, slow print speed and other factors to be less than desirable.

I retired a 4 year old Canon laser printer that had worn out rollers with this one. I print on average 80 -100 pages daily. This machine has not jammed or had issue in the 3 weeks that I have been using it. Several different papers and even printing 2 sided on rather cheap copy paper. The scanner works quite well and the copier as well, although I have only used those features a few times. I have not tried anything fancy like printing booklets or enlarging on the copier, so I can't speak for many of the advanced functions.

I do have it set up wireless and I have 4 computers that print to it.

I would recommend this and would buy this again.

4 Stars because there's always room for improvement. probably shgould be 4.5 stars. It could probably be a bit sturdier, but for the price, wow.

This printer is great! The set up was super easy and I love being able to print from any phone or laptop no matter where I am in my house. The set up directions were so helpful! They literally took you step by step and made it so simple. It literally took 10 minutes and I was printing! It's really fast and the quality of the prints is the best! I have had HP printers in the past and it lasted a long time! HP has always had quality printers and this one is top drawer! I couldn't be happier with our purchase.

This is a nice printer that consolidates printing, faxing and copying all in one package. It is wireless so you can print to it through all computers which eliminates wiring. The fact is the cartridge is big and won't dry out over time like inkjets do. One other strong point is that the drum is part of the cartridge so it is another expensive item that you no longer have to replace in addition to the toner cartridge!
