For mounting posters or photos and other such tasks, I'm sure this board would be fine. However, I use a lot of foam board in model making. On other sites this brand of board claims to be 3/16" in thickness, but it's actually 5/32". This may seem trivial, but it was pretty annoying when I needed precision. I have tools that cut away all the material except for one layer of paper for the purpose of clean joints. Because this board was too thin, I couldn't use them. Furthermore, the factory cut edges of this material were rough and none of the corners were actually square. I had to do a lot of trimming to get clean pieces. Again, I'm sure this is just fine for 95% of people who buy foam board, but if you need it for architectural models or something similar, look elsewhere.
