Good Support, Provides Relief

About Me Arthritic, Short Term User
I have arthritis in my finger joints. It has spread to the base of the thumb. The pain was unbearable. I wore these for two days as much as possible. The pain was gone, I have to believe it was the support from the glove that helped with the inflamation. The glove does not keep your thumb 100% rigid, which I found to be better. The other brands did not fit my thumb, medium too tight, large to loose. This works better because material is a stretch material and forms to fit you. I have larger hands and I needed a medium. Hard to find info on sizing, I found it on [@].
Finally some relief
About Me Arthritic, Not that old
I apparently now have arthritis in my thumb. Sometimes it's fine, sometimes I feel like having my thumb amputated! I just received this after trying on many other brands and styles (that didn't fit right). The other night I was slicing a roast with my electric knife. When I was mid way through I had to peel my "locked" thumb off the knife button. I was in agony. I put this on and kept it on all night. By morning my thumb was 95% better. I removed the wrist support, since I don't need it and it was bothering me. Great idea that it was removable. Beads on wrist are very helpful when using the mouse on the desktop computer but can be annoying on a laptop. Still worth annoyance for relief of pain.

Just what I needed!

I needed something to keep my wrists from becoming raw and/or developing calluses from the friction of moving my hands on a laptop. This product has eliminated that problem!
Cuts off circulation to my thumb

About Me Arthritic
I tried 3 times to wear this glove, both with and without the removable splints that keep the thumb constricted from movement. Each time within 2 minutes my thumb was numb and red. I wouldn't recommend this for anyone as my hands are small and I imagine this would be worse for a larger hand.
All that and more!

Use it at work all day long, for writting and for the computer. Use it when I write out Christmas cards at home.
Not what I expected

About Me Value Oriented
Main problem with this is it doesn't have a rigid thumb support. Thumb support/palm area is filled like a stiff bean-bag which made accessing/using mouse almost impossible for me. It was also very tight, needs to be pulled on like a glove, which I found inconvenient. Maybe I just needed a larger size but I don't believe a larger glove of this design would have provided the support I needed regardless.
