Do not discontinue selling these in your stores. A lot of the "6's" are vanishing from Staples shelves. Many of us, particularly in graphic arts prefer this printer overwhelmingly over the latest Canon Pixma.

              I own several Canon printers. I wish they all used a common cartridge. It seems that every printer manufacturer does this. It is inconvenient and expensive to maintain a multi-cartridge storage of spares. Only some cartridges have generic brands available and not always easy to find.
