Needed an all in one printer and this one is good. Fax function is easy to use, print is very clear, colors are good and photos look really good. I do a lot of scanning and that function is easy to use right from the screen. The unit is noisy and slower that other printers I have used but for my purposes it's just right - so is the price.

I keep repeating "straight paper Path" reduces paper jams and allows use of pre-punched card stock for Id tags, business cards etc.
I've tried other system but find this point to be very important.

1st time using a Epson printer. Works like a charm, quiet and quick. Very easy to move around. Ink and color is sharp and precise. Ink is costly, but is you buy the high capacity (XL) you get more printing for the buck. Love my new printer. I'd say to a friend it's "THE EASE OF OPERATIONS, QUIET, FAST, AFFORABLE AND PICTURE PERFECT COLOR. ULTRA BRITE IS TRULY ULTRA, NO INK COMPARES

have used epson flat bed photo scanner, all in ones. etc., since 1999. epson is what i we tell every one to buy based on the quality of the scan,the detail is best there is in each price range from personal to professional will never be with an epson, only with new purchased came with extended ink istead of low fill ink

Previous review was deleted cause I mentioned the name of a better choice... Well this one suffers from... Slow print speed average pic quality communication errors constant "jams" even when not using the paper feed... idl how but it does :( I would NOT recommend I truely have lost respect for this brand
