If you have ever wished someone would invent a better way to hold paper while you type data into your computer, well, here it is! This tiny gadget really works and takes up no space around your mouse pad or computer. We bought two. One person attached it to the top of her monitor, uses it every day, and thinks it's the best invention since sliced bread. The other person takes it with him and just slips it in his laptop case. Truly versatile, space saving and utilitarian.

The sling bar can be removed for travel: however, the small adhesive attachment base remains. The attachment base doesn't add much to depth. After two years, the adhesive is still holding firm and I'm rough on my laptop.

I have bought this item for every office I have worked in or set up, over 12 in total. They are great for copying or holding reports while inputing data into the computer.

I use this to hold open books which I set on a stand on exercise equipment (treadmill, elliptical) at the gym. It works best with larger books but b/c it has clips on both ends and is flexible it can work even for smaller paperbacks.

I have gone through a couple of these in the last few years. Eventually the plastic in the clips will break, but it's not an expensive product so I think it's worth the several months of use I get out of them. I haven't found anything else that works nearly as well.

I order a new one of these whenever I get a new monitor or change companies, so have had probably five of them total, using them from a range of a few months to over a year. I've never had one break, even when I used it for over a year. They can be easily pushed out of the way, and they don't clutter up your desk like the ones that sit on the desk. The flexibility is one of its best features, but unfortunately, it also causes it to not hold very many sheets at once. For me, it's still worth it to use this over the other options out there.

i use it with my laptop, just clips to the top of the screen. it's great for typing on the go.

I have been using this clip in multiple capacities for years now. It is sturdy, easy to apply (if you follow the directions) and very versatile. I wish it were more readily available.

It is the most conveinient design of any copy holder I've ever used. It was very easy to set-up. Unlike some of the other comments, my adhesive is NEVER coming off. But, about the 5th time I used it, the whole spring assembly popped apart, pieces flew everywhere and I cannot re-assemble it. Very ubnfortunate!!!
