I wanted a package to add to my existing [...] Antivirue packack to monitor for Walware viruses. This is an all or nothing. FOund out after wasting several hours to install and run that I needed to uninstall [...] plus when I initially regestered it did not go through thus this prevented package from working with no warning that this was why it keep hanging up my computer

About a week after installing this software a program called viruris8 downloaded itself onto my computer and caused a lot of problems including not being able to get on the internet.

While Fix-It did remove this malicious software, it did not block the software from being able to install itself onto my computer. In reading notes from other computer users that had other protection type software installed they had the same problems.

Just wonder why this software was able to bypass the protection of Fix-it in the first place as I thought that was one of Fix-It features.

Although Fix-it did remove this malicious software from my computer I still was not able to get on the internet. I tried reinstalling Internet Explorer, no luck, Firefox, no luck, finely got around the problem by restoring the system to a prior date.

Please let me know if there is a way to totally protect against this type of malicious software.

It took over and controlled my computer. I choosed not use their virus & spyware protection, however the software still disabled my Vipre antivirus, antispyware and firewall software. I had to reinstall my security software.

The program fixes the most common problems making the computer run faster. The only problem I see you must have to be online to really fix all the problems at hand in which it bypasses.

Had a few shut downs on XP SP3. Few fixes it was unable to do. Computer does run faster as promised. Pretty happy with product though. Did a 2nd computer that uses Vista and it fixed 100% didn't speed up much overall unfortuneately.
