    Charged only to 85% during the first charge. A pricey battery for the causal user...but that is the price of using high-end Nikon cameras. A hard battery to locate...had to use the internet to locate a decent price; not available in most Staples Stores.

    Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
