        not for the Nikon S230 battery is too short to make contact with camera electrical contacts. I needed to insert some folded paper to hold battery where it could reach the camera's contacts and power up the camera. Very annoying.

          I had bought a replacement battery at[@] that was supposed to work. It wouldn't hold a charge and was exhausted after 12 photos with flash. This Lenmar is as good as the original Nikon that came with the camera.

          I use this for my Fugifilm camera. I noticed a crimp in the construction on 1 side of the battery, and think it's a defect, but worked anyway. Also arrow markings to insert battery is on the wrong side, so had to flip it to insert it, so the arrow markings is on the underside. I have to remember that.
