I was pleasantly surprised to see how long this battery lasted. I was out taking pictures for several hours one morning. I probably took six hundred to seven hundred photos. It was a cold morning, and my camera was cold. I expected it to focus slower because of that, but it didn't. When I got home that afternoon, I was surprised to see that the battery was still charged above 50%. I would highly recommend this battery to everyone either to be used as their main battery, or as a backup battery. Either way, you will be pleased.
