I like the quality of the printing from this toner, however, it does get costly as it seems that I use about one cartridge a month. I am considering switching to a commercial printer where they provide the toner as part of the program.

I wish the cartridge lasted longer.....for the price you would think they would last longer than they do....:(

The printer itself is excellent. To print everyday documents to reports. In general I find I never get the pages on any laser printer from any printer or brand for that matter. But this lexmark is ridiculous. It is never even close when I'm even doing just regular text only type printing. The toners just don't last as long and the printer gives you little warning when it is about to run out of toner. Once any toner runs out too, it won't let you print anything. I still have this printer but replaced it with a new competitors product that uses ink instead of toner but can print faster than the laser even- the quality is not as good as the lexmark laser but for what I mostly use it as, the new ink printer is "good enough" in 98 percent of what I'm using. To sum it up, the toner is great butfor what I use the printer for I can't justify the high price of the toner for the few prints I get out of it. If you have an unlimited budget for purchasing toner then go for it. It just came down to me at one point I can buy three of the four replacement toners I needed or buy a brand new printer, it really makes you think.

This is not what I expected when I bought a Lexmark Printer. I would have expected these cartridges to last much longer than what I am getting for the cost of the cartridge. I am extremely disappointed in the product.

Had issues installing the first 5 cartridges. Spent hours on the phone with customer service in India & the Phillipines. Ridiculous!

Exactly the same as the high-capacity cartridge just half as much toner in it. Even though there is a refill plug under a side label and has no imaging components in it whatsoever cannot be refilled...a counter chip expires the cartridge when it hits page count limit, even if there is some toner left in it. No override to use until empty. Would rather pay a little extra for high-capacity cartridge but stores only carry standard.

Very happy with the printer, the colors are bright and printing is very clear. We've had other brand of printers, well known, but Lexmark appears to be the best, easy to use, very easy to install ink/toner, no mess and less expensive then our last two printers. We will have to see how long the ink lasts? I was real happy when I printed envelopes, they weren't all smashed up, they came out perfect!

I feel like I'm being extorted everytime I buy one of these cardtridges. They work great, BUT I know there is more toner in my cartridge even when the printer says its empty and there is no way to overide it. These would be ok if I could refill on my own, but the chip in each cardtride doesn't allow it. I hate that I can't print a black and white document when any of the colors are empty.
