Our printer is rarely used, but we needed it for school so we bought the cartridges. I was in shock. Sometimes I think it is cheaper to buy a new printer. The cartridges were easy to install and worked right away. Colors were not intense, but also did not smear.

Cartridges are easy in and out, color is good; however, price is high. I appreciate the Staples 15% off, but don't receive as often as needed and then have to take the plunge into $$$$'s. If your only interest is clarity of color, this is a good buy.

Sometimes hard to find 2 Packs, and singles are much more expensive. My main printer is a Lexmark X9350 (providing Wi-Fi wireless and two sided printing) which is primarily used for printing photos, address listings, and items from the internet. The Lexmark 43XL/44XL ink cartridges are the best selection to use due to the extended life/productivity over the standard 43/44 ink cartridges. I sometimes am forced to purchase a single 44 (black) ink cartridge as more items printed use black ink, thus over time a single black ink cartridge is required in order to balance out the use of color ink.
