Color is not true to what shows on the screen. I like other Lexmark printers better than the Pro915, but 150XL ink goes with this printer. Would not recommend this printer to anyone else.

The Lexmark 150XL ink cartridges are very easy to install in a printer. Even I, all thumbs, can do it in less than a minute. And that's for all three color cartridges.
I do like the ink. The colors are bold and bright. They are nice, full shades of each color. The material that gets colored is crisp and sharp. The ink does not run or smear. The time it takes to print in color is short and the look is professional.
I strongly recommend this printer and its cartridges for anyone doing any sort of printing.

Too expensive and not long enough cartridge life.

We bought the Lexmark because it was inexpensive and worked with a Mac computer running an older OS. The inks for the printer are far too expensive for such a low cost/low volume printer. Also, even though we never print in color we have to replace the color inks because the machine says to and won't work unless we do. We won't be buying Lexmark when we upgrade to a higher OS computer .

The quality and sharpness of the color printing has a good quality and does not fade. The cartridges are easy to place in the printer and I can purchase them locally. The store takes back empty cartridges and gives me points on my next purchases. The cartridges produce high quality color for my presentations for school. The printing is smudge proof and dries very quickly. The overall aspects of the printing with these cartridges is excellent but have a short cartridge life when having to print numerous articles and projects for school.

I love the fact that I can buy these in the different colors so that I don't have to buy one pack with all colors. I can replace them as they are used. This is especially helpful since my logo has specific colors and it uses one specific ink over and over again. I used to have to replace the whole "color" cartridge. Now I only have to replace the one I use most. The ink is fast drying and looks great in draft mode as well as "best". I love working with Staples because I don't have to drive, park, shop, and check out. It's great being able to shop from the convenience of my desk. Saves me time and money!

I was very satisfied with my recent purchace of the longer lasting Lexmark cartridges. The sales person recommended them. I am finding that I am already getting more print then usual. I find the print outs very clear and viberant. I am proud of the copies I send out to customers. I am hoping to find out that the color lasts once it is printed. I have not used my printer to print graphics or pictures. I am hoping for the same quality I am getting from text printing. I plan to do some t-shirt printing and puzzle printing.
