        I have purchased the xl in the past and it did last for quite some time. This time I purchased the xl product and it lasted less than a week before I had to purchase another one. I don't know it this one had a problem with it or if it was one that was refilled and did not get the proper amount of ink. I was very disappointed because the regular 100 lasted a longer time then this one. I do like make Lexmark printer so I will continue to use it. Just think that this was a one time deal with having a problem with the ink. Loyal customer.

          I've been using Lexmark products, such as this Ink Cartridge, for nearly three years now. I'm also self-employed, owning a small business as a genealogical look-up service provider. so using Lexmark inks is vital for printing up full-color flyers advertising my business and encouraging clients to hire me. So in response to the question above asking me what is my Primary Use for Lexmark Ink Cartridges, it is a combination of both Business as well as Personal. The only drawback for this great product is the price as I own a small business and keeping costs down is of great concern to me. I wish I could find a way to balance the two as I really like this product.

          I like to print documents, graphics,photos and clippings from Pinterest, Etsy and Amazon. I find that bright flashy colors in the artwork that caught my eye in the first place tend to use up my yellow ink very quickly!
          I had planty of blue and magenta ink left from my 4 pack purchase but the lack of yellow ink made my printer stop printing.
          I was able to get a single cartridge of the yellow ink and resume my happy printing habits,, and now I find my other inks are getting very low!!
          Time to get a new 4 pack and save the extra unopened yellow for refill later!
