I originally went into the store to look for a deal on another laptop speaker product but they had ran out already. So, disappointed, I looked for another and this one caught my eye. I was originally put off by the price. However, the 2.1 speaker system set up I was looking for was only available at this particular price point. Anything lower was way too low end and only had 2.0 set up. The higher end of the price spectrum yielded way too much system for its intended use (some music and movie viewing on the laptop/desktop combo). And so with some reluctance I picked this up knowing that Logitech had a pretty descent quality, judging from owner reviews. And so far (after some light use), it hasn't disappointed... though it hasn't blown me away either.

The speakers have great quality for the low price tag. It sounds great even at low levels. The controls on the wired remote make it easy to quickly change the volume. The headphone jack on the remote allows me to use that instead of trying to plug directly into my desktop (which is a stretch).

This speaker system manufactured by Logitech has sufficiently satisfied my home speaker needs. It has loud enough volume, while still maintaining a decent enough sound quality, and even has a volume control locater on the speaker's wire. Unfortunately, the cord is not extremely long and needs to stretch to the location I need it at. The subwoofer is a nice component, however I don't feel it really produces enough sound to tell whether it is on or not without putting your hand near it.

All in all this is a fine buy for someone who only needs a decent set of computer speakers.

You get what you pay for, I purchased Logitech speakers 15 years ago and the quality was a lot better than the Quality of what they're making today, then again the speakers 15 years ago still work perfectly, I'm hoping the new speakers just need some time to break in

The 1st one I purchased had to be taken back because the subwooferwas not working. I returned it and was not pleased with the sound. I checked all settings and all were turned up to the highest volume settings but it always felt like the sound still needed to be turned up higher! Not pleased going to return for a different brand. The price was right but the return did not meet my expectations.
